I am currently finishing up my Add-On Certification in School Library Media at the University of West Georgia. I also received my SEd and MEd in Early Childhood Education at UWG and my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Agnes Scott College.

I am currently the Media Specialist at Jefferson Parkway Elementary School in Newnan, Georgia. This was my first year in that position and I have loved every minute of it.

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of this portfolio is to showcase the various projects and papers that I have created in my classes while pursuing my Add-On Certification in School Library Media. The classes have taught me a broad spectrum of new ideas, concepts, technologies and theories that I can apply to my job everyday. Many of the new techniques that I have learned have already been implemented and the teachers are grateful for the new found information.
